Departmental Assessment and Improvement
Overview of Our Expertise
If we do not measure, we cannot see. If we cannot see, we cannot fix, and we will ALWAYS be at the mercy of REACTING versus being PROACTIVE. We will not be able to drive betterment without measuring and objectively understanding what we see, and how we can improve.
Visibility
Most metric trackers simply do not work. They are cumbersome, complex and tedious. One client’s tracker was so bad, it took time to even understand what they were attempting to show. We very much believe in “back to the basics” to begin so we reset client scorecards, with simplicity in mind, and provided a better medium to discuss results and insights.
Picture Is Worth 1000 Words
We believe in the power of graphs and charts – pictorial mediums. For many of our clients, we simply take their standing scorecards and apply visualization software to show trends and ID insight that might be missed just looking at columns of numbers.
How Is The Team? (Individual)
Many times we see leadership ignored. For some reason, in this day and age, we continue to notice that leaders will not interact with their teams. In one case, the Senior Leader brought us in to interview the teams and see what all was happening (and not happening) in the organization. We discovered serveral initiatives that had languished and were able to reset/reboot the team’s productivity.
How Is The Team? (Team)
Teams are supposed to be cross functional. You do not play football with 11 running backs or baseball with 9 short stops. We are adept at assessing teams, not only at the individual level, but also a the coordination level, where the synergy of the team takes place.
How We Help
We help by knowing operationally what will work and what will not. We have seen most of it before, and are wary of mistakes.
